Dr. Kelly Smith
Dr. Kelly Smith is the father of two. A little girl and a little boy. Dr. Kelly Smith completed his doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1994 from Parker Chiropractic College located in Dallas Texas. Dr. Kelly Smith then moved back to Florida, his state of birth, and completed his licensure and boards to become a Chiropractic Physician in the state of Florida.
Dr. Kelly Smith was trained in approximately 12 different adjusting techniques. He has taken the best from all of those techniques and incorporated them in his own unique style of treatment. Dr. Kelly Smith is a hands on Chiropractor. Although he has the activator as well as other adjusting tools, his preferred means of treatment is with his hands. Dr. Kelly Smith believes that the touch of the healer is the initial step in finding and relieving the patients pain.
Dr. Kelly Smith's clinic also has all of the latest therapy equipment. Dr. Kelly Smith has been a licensed therapist since 1994 when he received his seperate physiotherapy licensure from the state of Florida. These modalities are used in conjunction with the adjustment. The body is a whole and soft tissue is needed to be treated as well as the joints and bones of the body. This strong therapy background as well as his considerable skill in adjusting is what has allowed Dr. Kelly Smith to achieve such consistent and favorable results with his practice.
Dr. Kelly Smith is also an adjunct instructor at Indian River State College where he teaches: Anatomy and Physiology, Life Science, Physiopathology, and Biology.
